Older People & ESOL

English Classes (ESOL)

Our English language programme supports adults at various levels to strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Whether individuals are new to the UK or looking to improve their confidence in everyday conversations, our classes provide a structured and supportive learning environment. The sessions also help participants better engage with services, access employment opportunities, and connect more confidently with their wider community.

Recycled Teenagers

This engaging group is designed for older adults who are young at heart. It offers a welcoming and social environment where participants can enjoy conversation, light activities, and peer support. The group plays a valuable role in reducing loneliness and promoting emotional wellbeing, particularly for individuals who may feel disconnected or isolated. Through shared experiences and regular interaction, members build meaningful relationships and a stronger sense of community.

Women's Group

Our dedicated sessions for women aged 55 and over offer a safe, culturally sensitive space to meet others, share experiences, and take part in group activities. From creative workshops to health and wellbeing sessions, the programme aims to foster confidence, social inclusion, and emotional resilience. These sessions are designed not only to reduce social isolation but also to empower women to stay active, informed, and engaged with their community.

Men's Group

These sessions offer older men the chance to come together in a relaxed setting for conversation, shared interests, and group activities. The programme encourages social connection, reduces feelings of isolation, and supports positive mental and physical wellbeing. Whether through informal discussion, light exercise, or peer-led sessions, participants benefit from a space where they feel heard, valued, and part of a community.
