Community Iftaar 2025

On March 22, 2025, Hamara partnered with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation to host a Community Iftaar at AMT Headingley Stadium, the first time the stadium had welcomed such an event.

More than 200 people attended, including families, community leaders, and athletes, all coming together to mark Ramadan and celebrate unity. The evening was part of Rugby League’s wider commitment to supporting Muslim communities and promoting inclusion across the sport.

The event was a powerful reminder of how sport can bring people together, spark conversation, and build lasting connections.
