Thumbs Up For Hospitality
Hamara was proud to host the Child Friendly Leeds Ambassadors meeting on Wednesday the 1st of July, which coincided with the the initiatives 3rd Birthday Celebration. With guest such Councillor Lucinda Yeadon (Executive Member for Children and Families) as Nigel Richardson (Children’s Services) & Sue Rumbold (Children’s Services).

‘I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of all of us at Children’s Services, for hosting the ambassador event on Wednesday – your hospitality was immense and the buffet you provided was far more than I had expected so you can assure Hanif that hospitality expectations were far exceeded!’ Child Friendly Leeds

The project is working to bring everyone together to make Leeds a child friendly city – a place where children are valued, supported, enjoy growing up, and look forward to a bright future. There are over 300 businesses and organisations who have joined the campaign to make Leeds a child friendly city and signed up to be a child friendly Leeds ambassador, including Hamara. The event was an opportunity for organisations to highlight the wonderful work that goes on across the city for and with children and young people.
