Talent Match

What is the project purpose?

Talent Match targets young people who are furthest away from the job market including those who are outside the benefits, work or training system and facing severe barriers to gaining the skills they need to get into work.  Activities and support on offer include vocational guidance, graded introduction to the workplace, individualised work placement preparation and support, job search, interview skills, volunteering opportunities, job trials and in-work support to maintain employment.

Who can use this service?

Young people aged 18-24 who have been unemployed 12 months or more. Must have the right to work & be eligible for public funds in the UK {note – do not need to be in receipt of benefits / registered as unemployed}.  Referrals are particularly welcome of young people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities, people with physical or mental health problems, learning disabilities or with offending backgrounds.
