Halo stands for Health Achievement & Learning Opportunities

HALO is a community based service for adults with learning disabilities. The project provides service users with an opportunity to make friends, learn new skills and have fun in a friendly environment. We use a person centred approach with each client to ensure their needs are met and that they are able to achieve their potential.

We offer a wide range of activities for our users such as, I.T, Cooking, NIA, Zumba, Table tennis, Snooker, Nintendo, Walks, Bollywood films, Music, Karaoke, Parties, Basic skills (Numeracy, Literacy), Gardening, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Pampering, Enterprise, Sewing, Dancing and Many more..

The HALO project continues to provide an instrumental service to its users and their carers. We work very closely with our carers to establish a relationship and give them the opportunity to voice their opinion and concerns.  Once again the feedback received from the carers and customers has been very positive with both groups commenting on the high levels of satisfaction with the service.
