Free Men Only Sport and Fitness Sessions brought to by Hamara and Sport 4 Life

Badminton Males only 14+

Every Monday 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Location: Meet at Hamara

All Abilities Welcome!

What to expect from the session:

Head down to play a game of Badminton, enjoy a light hearted, fun activity. You will find that you will be off court occasionally. During those times, you’ll get to mingle, socialise and make lots of new friends.

Tennis Males only 14+

Every Tuesday 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Location: Meet at Hamara

What to expect from the session:

Racket sport for all abilities, join us and you can improve your overall health significantly because you are exercising almost every muscle in your body. It will help you to tone your muscles all while burning excess calories. So why not come along and have fun game of Tennis

Cricket (Men only Age 14+) * Free

Every Wednesday 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Location: Meet at Hamara transport provided to Headingly indoor cricket stadium

What to expect from the session?

The sessions are interactive and packed full of fun games based around cricket. These games will instil the basics needed to enjoy, compete and excel at cricket. You will learn the fundamentals of cricket in a safe and friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to socialise and make new friends.

Table Tennis Males only 14+

Every Thursday 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Location: Hamara Centre Main Hall

What to expect from the session:

It is entertaining, fun, fast and has great health benefits as well. Because of the low risk of injury table tennis can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. When played regularly it improves reflexes, hand-eye coordination and balance, while toning and strengthening the core muscles, upper and lower body.

Cricket (Men only Age 14+) * Free

Every Friday 5:45pm – 8:00pm

Rugby (Men only 14+) *Free

Every Saturday 9.45am to 12:00pm

Location: Meet at Hamara

All abilities welcome!

What to expect from the session?

The health benefits of rugby are plenty of and varied, and also at the most basic level, rugby is like a method of increasing the time spent doing exercise. Rugby is a popular sport that increases strength, endurance and fitness.

Football (Men only 14-16 year old’s) *Free

Every Sunday 11.00am to 1:00pm

Location: Thomas Danby Community Sports Centre,

What to expect from the session?

Stay active, get fit and have fun, playing football provides numerous types of advantages, such as increased aerobic and anaerobic fitness, improved fitness skills. Football helps develop numerous types of fitness skills including speed, agility and power. Players may lose body fat, gain lean muscle and increase the likelihood of maintaining healthy habits throughout life.

Multi Sports (Men only 14+) *Free

Every Sunday 11.00am to 1:00pm

All abilities welcome!

What to expect from the session?

Stay active, get fit and have fun with multi sports including a range of sports from, cricket to tennis and much more.
